Some E8 Feature updates! - Moving to 1.7.0 RC/Final

Hey Toast,

We're still on the project, bit of a break away to sort out our business lives. The latest developments is upgrading to the new Ogre3D release and perhaps dropping our 3rd party GUI setups (which caused 99% of our headaches).

It's always easier to manage things in-house. Grigi and I are back on track with this :-)

Updates :-)

Implimented 1.7 in the core of Engine8. Build successful minus our landscape classes and grass feature set. We're looking at re-introducing this soon though.

Meanwhile we shall focus on heightmap calculations and managed asset classes for players / ai / npc's / pickups - we can go on.

We'll update as soon as we make more progress.
