Those of you that remember the old forums would know my involvement with vehicle physics. I'm really looking forward to the release of Forza 3 - which is to show case some of the best seen to date. I've been playing Forza 2 for ages now and it still keeps my interest, especially tuning vehicles for drift practice.
Forza 2 is un-deniably one of the best vehicle simulations around, if anyone had the opportunity to read the collectors edition book on the title you'll know just how much time and effort it took to complete it.
Some of you would not have even picked up that the engine swap (drivetrain swaps) available in the game are actually legitimate swaps available in real life - Along with ENGINE CODES! Ah just speaking about it makes me all excited again.
Forza 3 will build on this, from my sources it will not only have a very convincing car line up, but it will feature interior views! A first for the Forza series - something already seen by PGR players
Release for Forza 3 is due sometime in October, I'm hedging my bet end October 2009. For now however, Forza 2 is enough to keep me going
It's a darn pity we'll be seeing two Forza releases in the time it took Sony and co. to release the full version of Gran Turismo 5. We'll see how GT5 fares against Forza 3 when both are available to public.
Cheers and take care.
